1. Introduction
AFGCoin Wallet ("we," "our," or "us") is a self-custodial cryptocurrency wallet application developed by AFGCoin TM. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our mobile application for BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy. AFGCoin Wallet is designed so that your sensitive data never leaves your device.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information Stored Locally on Your Device
- Wallet addresses (public keys) — stored only on your device
- Private keys and seed phrases — encrypted with AES-256 and stored only on your device
- PIN hash — stored as a SHA-256 hash on your device
- Token preferences — your custom token list and display settings
2.2 Information Fetched from Public Sources
- Transaction data — fetched from the public BNB Smart Chain blockchain
- Token prices — fetched from public price APIs (Binance, DexScreener)
- Token balances — queried from BSC public RPC nodes
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
We want to be absolutely clear about what we never collect:
- Private keys or seed phrases
- Passwords or PINs
- Personal identity information (name, ID, etc.)
- Email addresses or phone numbers
- Location data
- Device identifiers (beyond what AdMob may collect)
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
We do not use any analytics or tracking SDKs in our application.
2.4 Advertising
Google AdMob is integrated into our app for displaying advertisements. AdMob may collect certain advertising identifiers and device information as described in Google's Privacy Policy. This data collection is governed by Google's own privacy practices and is not controlled by us.
3. How We Store Data
- Private keys and seed phrases are encrypted using AES-256 encryption and stored exclusively on your device's local storage.
- Your PIN is stored as a SHA-256 hash — we cannot recover or view your PIN. If you forget your PIN, you must reset your wallet and re-import using your seed phrase.
- We never transmit private keys, seed phrases, or PINs to any server.
- There is no cloud backup of your wallet data. All data remains on your device.
- Uninstalling the app or clearing app data will permanently delete all locally stored wallet information.
4. Third-Party Services
AFGCoin Wallet integrates with the following third-party services to provide functionality:
- 1inch API — Used for token swap quotes and execution. Swap transactions are processed through the 1inch aggregation protocol. See 1inch Privacy Policy.
- BSCScan — Used to fetch transaction history from the public blockchain. See BSCScan Privacy Policy.
- AFGScan (afgscan.net) — Our block explorer used for transaction data and verification.
- Binance API — Used to fetch BNB price data for portfolio valuation.
- DexScreener — Used to fetch token price data for BEP20 tokens.
- Google AdMob — Used for displaying in-app advertisements. See Google Privacy Policy.
These services may have their own privacy policies governing their data practices. We encourage you to review them.
5. Blockchain Data
- All transactions on BNB Smart Chain are public and permanent. Once a transaction is confirmed on the blockchain, it cannot be modified or deleted.
- We do not control or modify any blockchain data.
- Wallet addresses are pseudonymous, not anonymous. While wallet addresses are not directly linked to personal identities, transaction patterns could potentially be used to identify users.
- Anyone can view transaction history for any wallet address using a block explorer.
6. Your Rights
- Delete all wallet data at any time by resetting or uninstalling the app. All locally stored data will be permanently removed.
- No account registration is required to use AFGCoin Wallet. You can start using the app immediately without providing any personal information.
- No personal data is stored on our servers. Since we don't collect personal data, there is nothing to request deletion of from our side.
- Export your data by backing up your seed phrase, which allows you to restore your wallet on any compatible application.
7. Security
We implement multiple layers of security to protect your assets:
- AES-256 encryption for private keys and seed phrases stored on your device
- SHA-256 PIN hashing — your PIN is never stored in plain text
- Screenshot prevention on sensitive screens (seed phrase display, private key export) using Android's
FLAG_SECURE and iOS's secure text fields
- Biometric authentication support (fingerprint, face recognition) as an additional security layer
- Auto-lock — the wallet locks automatically after a period of inactivity
- No remote access — there is no backdoor or remote access to your wallet data
8. Children's Privacy
AFGCoin Wallet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through our app, please contact us at support@afgwallet.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Continued use of AFGCoin Wallet after any changes to this Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
